Abstract: Digital healthcare systems are crucial due to the difficulty in accessing traditional healthcare systems in areas with limited resources. The importance of digital healthcare has risen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. DPGs have been developed for a wide range of healthcare applications such as patient monitoring, telemedical consultations and digital vaccine records. On the other hand, the development of healthcare DPGs faces many challenges due resource constraints such as: limited infrastructure (internet connectivity, digital devices, in-house servers), limited availability of digitally skilled professionals, lack of trust, security, and privacy. During this webinar, the panelists will discuss the opportunities that DPGs offer to healthcare as well as the key challenges and ways to address them.
