Carrie Gardner

Carrie Gardner is a cybersecurity engineer at the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute. Her primary work is with the National Insider Threat Center, where she works on best practices in insider threat risk management. Gardner is also a part-time adjunct faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information. 

Gardner holds a master’s degree in information science from the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information, a graduate certificate in international affairs from Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service, and bachelor of arts degrees in political science and psychology from the Honor College at the University of North Texas.
