Abstract

Scope: Investigate privacy and security decision making through the theoretical lenses of behavioral economics, and using the tools and methodologies of experimental economics, in a series of human subject experiments. Our goal is to inform the design of privacy and security technologies through behavioral studies, in order to anticipate and mitigate potential human cognitive and behavioral biases that emerge in the context of privacy and security decisions.

Outcomes: Experiments with human subjects, conference proceedings, at least one journal article.
