Abstract

Scope: Development of efficient data-intensive computing cluster software and hardware architectures to support security-focused data analysis: real- and near real-time comprehensive network traffic recording and analysis; efficient and non-intrusive network and host malware/virus scanning; future workloads including general data analytics in support of intelligence applications.

Outcomes: Novel algorithms and network architectures that drastically reduce the footprint and cost of providing data-intensive security services.
