Abstract

Scope: Design a system using re-programmable logic chips to modifying antenna array properties in such a way as to direct nulls in the direction of a jammer. The system will be designed around inexpensive hardware, including an FPGA which would adjust parameters such as amplitude and phase.

Outcomes: A software system that can demonstrate a reduction in bit-error rate in the presence of a jammer. The system will serve as a proof of concept and lead to a larger project involving hardware fabrication.
