Abstract

Scope:  Develop a system that can monitor information with a medical context through analysis of sound, while ensuring privacy by minimizing voice data collection based on the context and securing communication between heterogeneous nodes within the system.

Outcomes: Sound categorization on distributed sensor nodes; collaborative network localization from ambient sound; collaborative task processing and sensing task partition; secure distributed communication on heterogeneous networks with sensor nodes and mobile phones; secure data migration in heterogeneous networks.
