Yueqiang Cheng is a Postdoc Fellow of CyLab, Carnegie Mellon University, where he works with Professor Virgil D. Gligor and Professor Adrian Perrig. He earned his Ph.D. degree in School of Information Systems from Singapore Management University under the guidance of Professor Robert H. Deng and Associate Professor Xuhua Ding. He received his B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from Zhejiang University.

His research interests are system security (e.g., virtualization-based system hardening, data protection and software-only root of trust) and software security (e.g., code reuse attacks and their defense, control flow integrity).
